A great idea would be to post on Craigs' List or your local Freecycle group and see if there are any church youth groups doing a garage sale to raise money for camps or other summer activities. They'd appreciate the donation and you'd know that you're helping further the Gospel (even if it is by giving away your old stuff). In the next few weeks, my group of friends is doing a garage sale. My daughters (ages 4 and 6) have gathered our stuff to put in, and we're using the proceeds to buy art supplies to send to a Manna Feeding Center in Mongolia. Our friends started it and it'll be a great way for my kids to learn how to share with God's people :) Either way, good luck! Just make sure Olive isn't around if you're gonna be getting rid of some of her stuff, that makes a little girl very sad!
