Worship Leading?

Well it happened! We are officially leading worship at a CHURCH! Not at a church, like, on tour, on the road at a church… but at CHURCH church!

Shane E and i are leading part time at the Oaks Fellowship Church in Red Oak Texas. About 8 miles from my house! We have played there a few times over the last 5 years, and have fallen in love with the staff, the heart and vision of this body of believers. On top of leading worship there, we are joining forces in starting a worship school as a part of the College that already exists at the Oaks (The Oaks School of Leadership). It’s unbelievable exciting!!! We will be filling you all in as the process unfolds… but we are so incredibly humbled by the things the Lord has brought to us locally! Some answers to years of prayers! Praise Him!

    Congratulations guys. I know that this church is lucky to have such great guys as part of their church. I used to live in Desoto :( I wish I still did so I could come worship with you alot more often. A bunch of my friends still live there in Waxahachie and I will be sure to make them all go and be a part of worship with you. And you can be sure that I will be visiting soon and coming to church with you. Its just not close enough to do all the time since I live in middle Tennessee now.
    Besides your own, whose music are you guys using right now? I would love to know what you guys are into right now. I am still really enjoying, Tomlin, Crowder, and a bunch of other stuff at my home church where I help lead music a little bit.

    This is really exciting news for me. I don’t live in Texas, and I don’t plan on moving there. I will never visit Oaks Fellowship, and I don’t know of anyone who lives in the area either. But I’ve been to your concerts, and have listened to your music for a long time, and I know that you will be a blessing to that congregation. and this makes me happy.

    Great news guys … not like you know me, but I’ve seen you guys live probably 4 times now, and I believe I’ve encountered God every time. What a blessing you’ll be to the congregation. I guess I’ll have to take my vacations to Red Oak Texas to get my Shane and Shane fix. By the way, I enjoyed that new song you guys posted recently.
